Adding a new 3000 spoiler to your ride isn't as difficult as it might seem, although you'll want to take extra care when installiing one so as to not damage your paint or get the spoiler off-center. A custom 3000 spoiler will either attach with automotive-grade double-stick adhesive, or by drilling a few small holes in your 3000 trunk lid and using the provided hardware to secure the spoiler. Some enthusiasts go as far as to buy an extra junkyard trunk lid to attach their 3000 spoiler to so that their factory trunk lid will remain undrilled.
