» DID YOU KNOW?
Drake Automotive Group started out building restoration products for classic mustangs but now they have expanded their business to include modern day muscle and performance cars as well as the SUV and off road world. They have some of the most advanced design and manufacturing processes of any aftermarket company. Products start out when they are designed using CAD software and 3D modeling. Designs are then analyzed using a process called Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to check for design flaws or potential weak points. Next products are prototyped and tested for fitment before the real testing begins. Every part goes through a full battery of grueling tests and inspections before it is deemed worthy of production. This can include off-road testing, race track testing, endurance testing, noise and vibration testing, ozone testing, and x-ray weld inspections. The production process is similar in that no corners have been cut to bring you the best possible product that you can put all of your confidence in.
