Achieve brilliant looking brakes with a high-quality G2 brake caliper paint kit. No more dull, dingy looking brake calipers or drums - G2 cures your ugly brake problems with high temperature paint that is easily applied, and will last for many years thanks to its extreme resilience to grease, road salt, and harsh chemicals. Ready to brighten up that void between your wheel spokes? Andy's Auto Sport and G2 have the goods.
WHY TO BUY?
Brake calipers really are ugly in most cases. At the very least, they're usually filthy, and that's because they're hard to clean in their natural state. Using a G2 brake caliper paint kit will not only improve your brakes' appearance, it will also make them easier to clean since they will have a glossy finish and will resist brake dust. Even if you don't want too much flashiness, a black or silver G2 brake caliper paint kit will make your life a whole lot easier when you give your car, truck, or SUV a bath.
DID YOU KNOW?
Although we all love instant gratification, you'll need to let your G2 brake caliper paint cure for 24 hours before taking it on its maiden voyage. While that may sound like a long time, it's necessary in order to do the job right and guarantee a long-lasting finish. Don't worry, though, as you can reinstall your wheels after only a couple of hours, so your ride won't be on jack stands for too long!
We used to paint our brake calipers the same way everyone else we knew used to do it: with an off-the-shelf rattle-can in our favorite color. The problem was, it looked like a rattle-can paint job, especially once it started flaking off. Even with some good prep work, normal paint just isn't made to take the extreme heat of a braking system, and that's where G2's line of high-temperature paint kits come in. Starting with a line of specially designed paints and prepping agents, G2 eventually expanded its line to include engine paint kits, and specially made cleaners. If you're going to go through the effort of painting your brake calipers or drums, or even your engine, you should do it right the first time and use products that are designed to withstand the abuse. With that in mind, we think G2's line of high-temp paint kits are a good way to go.
