About this Manufacturer:
Unorthodox Racing Kevlar setups consist of either a full face or windowed facing with a sprung or unsprung hub, matched heavy-duty pressure plate, and a release bearing. Heavy-duty sprung hubs are available on most kits.
Unorthodox Racing (“UR”) was founded early in 1996 by performance enthusiasts that had spent almost a decade hands on tweaking and tuning various American muscle cars. By the early 90’s it was clear a new automotive era was beginning to debut with high performance small displacement engines. Work began on what would be the first product line, underdrive pulleys, in late 1993. Slowly over the next 3 years the pulleys were tested and tweaked. The most important part of this plan was their strict policy of only making products that did what they said they would, fit like they said they would, looked like automotive artwork and would last the lifetime of the vehicle. UR was quickly accepted by enthusiasts, racers and tuners alike as a supplier they could trust to make only the highest quality, uncompromising performance products. Combined there have been billion miles driven using Unorthodox Ultra and Tuner Series products with only the highest satisfaction.
