Cross-drilled rotors are an excellent choice for street-driven vehicles, as they dissipate heat quickly and keep the rotor surface clean. However, using cross-drilled rotors in extreme racing conditions can cause cracking, which is why slotted Axxess rotors have become the preferred choice for track use. If you're considering slotted rotors for the street, they may be a good bet so long as you don't mind changing your brake pads more often.
