We made a video explaining what exactly a motor mount is, and why to consider buying an aftermarket one instead of a factory one. We explain how aftermarket urethane motor mounts are stiffer than factory ones, and how that translates to more power to the ground. Most OEM vehicles come from the factory equipped with rubber motor mounts. While rubber does a good job of absorbing vibration, it leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to durability and rigidity. Polyurethane offers a great alternative to rubber. With aftermarket polyurethane motor mounts you will have added longevity and strength so you can drive with confidence for years to come. Polyurethane is resistant to heat and chemicals, and also holds its shape better then rubber which can give improved throttle response and shifting. The next time you need to change your motor mounts we recommend stepping up to polyurethane.
