What are coil spacers? Why buy them?
Coil spacers are circular components, usually made of steel, aluminum or urethane, which fit between your coil spring and the spring mount to add a little boost in ride height to your vehicle. These spacers are available in a host of different thicknesses so that you can precisely tune your ride height to suit your needs. There are several different reasons you may wish to consider running coil spacers. Over the years your vehicles springs will sag from use, instead of replacing them with new springs it is cheaper and easier to install coil spacers in order to return the ride height to stock. Alternately you may wish to gain a little extra ground clearance in order to run larger tires or to drive on rough roads. Coil spacers are a simple way to get a little boost in ride height without shelling out for an entirely new suspension.
