» WHY TO BUY?
Turbochargers produce a lot of power, but they also generate incredible amounts of heat. Unfortunately much of this heat is passed to the intake charge which substantially reduces power potential. One remedy to this situation is to use Mx-6 intercoolers. Aftermarket Mx-6 intercoolers are essentially radiators for your compressed intake charge. They use fresh cool air to reduce the charge temperature, and as we all know dense cold air makes a lot more power. Intercoolers are also an important safety factor on your motor. If your intake charge gets too hot it can cause premature detonation which can quickly destroy a motor and cause an expensive rebuild. By keeping the charge cool you can safely run your vehicle hard at not have to worry about pinging and detonation. If you have a larger aftermarket turbo you should look for a high-performance Mx-6 intercooler to match. The larger the intercooler the better its capacity to dissipate heat, so if you will be driving in competition or in extreme weather conditions we recommend running the largest intercooler you can fit.
