 » WHY TO BUY?
A new Civic high-flow fuel pump will help provide the necessary fuel for proper combustion in your modified engine, but it can also serve as a good replacement for a stock Civic engine so long as your fuel pressure regulator is in proper working order and adequately managing the flow of fuel to your fuel rail and injectors. If you've made any major upgrades to your Civic engine or it's been a while since you've changed the fuel pump, it might be time to look into a replacement that will be able to better handle the job.
 » DID YOU KNOW?
All of the power add-ons in the world won't amount to much if your Civic fuel pump isn't up to the task. Whether you need a stock replacement or a high-flowing unit, fuel pumps are responsible for getting the goods to your carburetor or fuel injectors. If your fuel pump isn't pulling enough gas or diesel through the lines, you might as well forget the rest of your mods until you can get the fuel supply side in order since your engine either won't run or will run so lean that you will risk overheating. Some of us have also ruined perfectly good fuel pumps by running our cars low on gas on the track, which overheats the pumps (especially in the turns), but the same can happen on the street. After installing a new Civic fuel pump, it is recommended to not let your tank get below half-full for at least the first few thousand miles.
