  Why buy a grille?  
  Grilles add a great cosmetic touch to your truck, separating it from the other stock, basic trucks on the road. There are several styles of grilles available.  
     
  What is a cut-out grille?  
  This is a grille that involves removing your factory grille insert and replacing it with the new cut-out grill insert of your choice. As opposed to a bolt-over grille (which goes over your factory grille), the cut-out grille installation requires the cutting-out of your factory grille. Therefore cutting and drilling is required. Installation of these is easy enough for most handy do-it-yourselfers to handle; otherwise, simply take it to a local body shop since cutting and/or drilling might be required).  
     
  If a cut-out grille is harder to install than a bolt-over grille, why buy a cut-out grille?  
  Cut-out grilles often look cleaner than bolt-over grilles, because there is nothing behind grille face. Don't get us wrong, bolt-over grilles look very nice! But with a cut-out grille, no matter which angle you look at it, no matter which light you're in, that grille will look gorgeous and clean since there is no factory grille behind it.
