» WHY TO BUY?
Everyone loves a cool-looking set of Outback fog lights, but we also recommend them as a safety item for times when visibility isn't the greatest. If you do a fair amount of driving, you'll appreciate the peace of mind in knowing that your Outback fog lights will be there to help light the way on a gloomy night. Fog lights usually work best when your Outback headlights are off, but because of many road laws they are often wired to work in tandem with low beam headlights. In general, yellow (officially known as "selective yellow") Outback fog lights are more effective in adverse conditions due to the reduction in short blue light waves present in white lights, which can distract the eye and make it more difficult to see detail. Most Outback fog lights are actually universal mount, but others are available with application-specific mounts and harnesses which plug in directly to your Outback wiring harness.
