A larger-than-stock Bonneville downpipe frees up exhaust gases and provides impressive power increases and faster turbo spooling, helping to reduce turbo lag, slightly increase boost pressure, and reduce exhaust gas temperature.
» DID YOU KNOW?
Once you increase boost in your Bonneville turbo system, it's a good time to consider replacing the restrictive factory downpipe. An aftermarket Bonneville downpipe offers a larger diameter and smoother bends than the original, resulting in what is often a substantial horsepower increase. Depending on the design, downpipes may also come equipped with integrated high-flow catalytic converters and/or exhaust diverters, which re-route wastegate gases for decreased exhaust turbulence.
