After hundreds of hours of surface based modeling Carbon by Design is proud to announce the first arrival in the new AF series of Carbon Fiber Airfoils. Based upon a skilful section of aerodynamic constraints, the AF60 is as much a function piece of hardware as it is a beautiful work of art. The AF series of airfoils are based upon a full functional airfoil design borrowed from several of the technologies adated from our active aircraft programs. Each foil is build from a CNC carved tool which replicates a surface tolerance of .002. Engineers will appreciate the no compromise approach to foil construction and show enthusiasts will attract attention with the carbon finish known for its show winning capabilities.
