Aftermarket bumpers can sometimes be less expensive than factory original Passport parts, but can also be much stronger depending on their construction and intended use. Some Passport bumpers are available in special finishes as well (such as chrome and powdercoat), giving you even more options. Keep in mind that while aluminum bumpers can be lighter than the original Passport bumpers, they are sometimes not due to their thicker construction. However, they are usually much lighter than the same type of aftermarket steel Passport bumper.
