If the factory F150 bumpers are damaged, now is a great time to replace or upgrade them. Aftermarket bumpers can sometimes be less expensive than factory original F150 parts, but can also be much stronger depending on their construction and intended use. Installing new F150 bumpers is easy for the do-it-yourselfer, and can give your vehicle a whole new aggressive look that will command attention. Even if your current bumpers are in fine condition, custom F150 bumpers are a great addition whether your ride is otherwise stock or custom.

Your F150 bumpers protect your vehicle and its occupants, but they can also offer your ride a variety of other features. Aside from better looks, aftermarket bumpers can provide mounting locations for additional lighting or even a winch and spare tire, and can be constructed from round or plate steel or aluminum. Some F150 bumpers are available in special finishes as well (such as chrome and powdercoat), giving you even more options. Keep in mind that while aluminum bumpers can be lighter than the original F150 bumpers, they are sometimes not due to their thicker construction. However, they are usually much lighter than the same type of aftermarket steel F150 bumper.
