While rubber works ok for C- and K- Series Pick-up body mounts, it does have a weakness. Over time and with exposure to chemicals and other environmental factors rubber will break down and fail completely. Fortunately many of the leading aftermarket vendors now offer urethane C- and K- Series Pick-up body mounts. These urethane mounts have far superior durability to rubber while still providing plenty of flexibility to maintain good ride quality. In addition they will give the underside of your ride a high-performance look. So when it is time to change your body mounts we highly recommend upgrading to a good set of urethane mounts.
