About this Manufacturer:
We've been using Royal Purple synthetic fluids for a great many years, including its XPR racing oils and Max-Gear oil in a few of our personal track cars. In fact, one of our cars had worn synchronizers between first and second gears which caused the occasional mis-shift, and upon changing the old fluid to Max-Gear, the transmission became much easier to shift. The transmission was still eventually replaced, but it extended its life more than a few months, making it a worthwhile investment in our book. We've even used the company's 2-cycle oil in a hopped-up moped that goes twice as fast as was ever intended. In our opinion, Royal Purple lives up to the hype.
