What is a short shifter? Why buy a short shifter?
A short shifter dramatically improves your shifting performance due in large part to reduced shifter travel, or "short throw". If you're in a performance situation, the additional seconds it takes for a factory stock shifter to go from one gear to another can result in a slower time. If you want speed, reduce the throw and increase your acceleration by getting a short shifter.
Are short shifters available for every vehicle?
Short shifters are vehicle specific and are not universal. They are not available for any automatic transmission vehicles.

Short shifters are installed by removing your factory shift lever from your transmission.
