Many OEM manufacturers designed the rear suspension of their trucks to be excessively soft in order to produce the most comfortable ride. However, this negatively impacts the ability to haul heavy loads and maintain safety while doing so. Soft springs will sag under extreme weight and cause poor handling characteristics on the highway which can lead to an accident. By upgrading the rear suspension with air leveling kits you can have your cake and eat it to. You'll get a smooth comfortable ride when you want it, but then if you need to haul your dirt bike to woods you can air up the rear to firm up the ride for the added payload. This is a trick way to setup any truck.
